Catalogue Description:
Silver creamer, with elaborate repoussé decorations; part of a 5-piece tea and coffee service. Ovoid body that narrows at neck then flares out to form wide spout and undulating top edge; creamer raised on round pedestal consisting of cylindrical shaft that flares out to disk base; squared handle opposite spout. Repoussé decorations: body covered with naturalistic landscape scene containing man with scythe over his shoulder and dog, trees, flowers, birds, buildings of varying architectural styles including cottage with fenced in yard; stylized leaves below spout and around top edge; base of pedestal covered with flowers; handle has foliate decorations at ends and ram's head at upper, outside corner.
