Catalogue Description:
Coptic textiles- Tapestry weave. Colored wools; natural linen. One of six fragments of narrow tapestry-woven borders of varied design. 1) Red lozenges on black ground. 2) Running animal on blue ground. 3) White squares on blue ground. 4) Dart-shaped motif on red. 5) Fleur de lys, red on white. 6) Floral motifs, white on red. Condition: Frayed and worn.
