Winter Concert: Brooklyn Conservatory Community Orchestra
As the days turn wintry, warm up with music by Tchaikovsky, Wagner, and Vivaldi performed by the Brooklyn Conservatory Community Orchestra. Led by Music Director Dorothy Savitch, the orchestra returns to the Brooklyn Museum for an afternoon concert anchored by Tchaikovsky’s towering Symphony No. 5 in E Minor. The program also includes Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll” and Vivaldi’s Oboe Concerto in A Minor RV 461, featuring oboist Alison Mari. All ages are welcome.
