Curator Tour: The Dinner Party by Judy Chicago

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the debut of The Dinner Party by Judy Chicago, Carmen Hermo, Associate Curator for the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, gives a special free tour of this important artwork. The tour includes a discussion of the groundbreaking 1974–79 artwork's creation and original international travel, its controversial reception, and its lasting legacy in combatting the erasure of women from mainstream historical narratives by celebrating the achievements of women throughout Western history.
