Book Talk: Gaiutra Bahadur and C Pam Zhang

Echoing themes in Oscar yi Hou: East of sun, west of moon, writers Gaiutra Bahadur and C Pam Zhang and curator Indira A. Abiskaroon discuss largely obscured histories of Indo-Caribbean indentured servitude and Chinese migrant labor in the American West. Bahadur and Zhang also present readings from their books Coolie Woman: The Odyssey of Indenture and How Much of These Hills Is Gold, respectively, followed by a signing.
