Panel Discussion: "Behind the Lens, in the Spotlight: Women’s Image in Rock"

In conjunction with Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 to the Present , a distinguished panel examines the impact of sexism on the image and role of women in rock and roll over the past thirty years; the effect of feminism on the rock scene; and what lies ahead for women’s participation in all aspects of rock music.
Music journalist Vivien Goldman moderates a discussion with photographers Kate Simon and Jill Furmanovsky , musician Tamar-kali , and editor and musician Ingrid Dahl .
