Herstory Talk: Letters from Baghdad: The Extraordinary Story of Gertrude Bell

    In the aftermath of World War I, British diplomat, cartographer, and writer Gertrude Bell drew the borders of Iraq, installed its first king, and founded the Baghdad Museum of Antiquities. Join us as filmmakers Zeva Oelbaum and Sabine Krayenbühl present Bell’s story in a 30-minute preview of their upcoming film, Letters from Baghdad, and follow it with a presentation of Bell’s photography.
