    BrooklyNites is a new weekday night program, held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, featuring live jazz performances and gallery talks at the Brooklyn Museum.

    Performances
    5–6 p.m.: Abigail Riccards Group 

    Brooklyn-based artist Abigail Riccards thrills with vocals that earned her a semifinalist spot in the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocal Competition.

    6:30–8:30 p.m.: Malika Zarra, featuring Francis Jacob, Brahim Fribgane, and Mamadou Ba

    A Moroccan-French singer with a velvety, sinuous mezzo-soprano voice, Malika Zarra mixes rhythms from chaabi, Berber, Gnawa music, and jazz.

    Gallery Talks

    6 p.m.: Global Feminisms 

    7:30 p.m.: Pharaohs, Queens, and Goddesses 

    Tickets are $10 ($5 for Museum Members). Cash bar 5–9 p.m. Happy hour 5–6 p.m. Parking is a flat rate of $4 beginning at 5 p.m.
