Scent Tour: Thomas Cole’s A Pic-Nic Party

Encounter an artwork in a new way with a gallery tour that brings together sight and scent. Guided by Jessica Murphy, Manager of Group Experiences, we’ll do some “slow looking” at Thomas Cole’s A Pic-Nic Party , a scene of leisure in an idyllic autumn landscape. Expanding the sensory experience, we’ll also sample a variety of aromatic materials, making connections between olfaction and visual art.
