Tour our special exhibition Elizabeth Catlett: A Black Revolutionary Artist and All That It Implies and learn how the artist defined Black feminist art of the 20th century. Hear from Dalila Scruggs, Augusta Savage Curator of African American Art at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, about Catlett’s commitment to both her creative practice and political convictions.

Then, head to the studio, where artist and educator Maggie Holland will guide you through the linocut printmaking process. Learn to design powerful symbols of social change and create prints that share your vision for a better world. End the day with your own beautiful art on paper.
