Francisca de Lebrija

Flourished circa 1500, Lebrija, Spain

Francisca de Lebrija (Lebrixa) was the daughter of the renowned humanist scholar and writer Antonio de Lebrija (1444?–1522). Like her father, who was responsible for her education, Francisca taught at the University of Alcalá in Spain.
