Teen Night: Feminism in Fashion

Friday, February 18, 2022

5–7:30 pm

Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion and Lobby, 1st Floor

Join us for the in-person return of Teen Nights, our teen-led program centered on art and activism! In February, we’ll highlight a range of art-making, performances, and other activities inspired by Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams.

Schedule:

  • 5–5:45 pm Welcome and gallery activities: Uncover our Teen Night’s themes in a scavenger hunt, and find feminism while searching among the artworks in Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams and across the Museum.
  • 5:45–7:15 pm Art-making and food: Enjoy snacks, create your own bracelet, take cute photos in our Photo Booth, and get a unique screenprinted T-shirt or tote with Bushwick Print Lab.
  • 6–7:30 pm Performances: Close out the evening with poetry by Fanta Ballo and musical performances from Davishmar, Jelly, Amanda Barise, Anayka She, DJ FLWRSHRK, and more, plus an open mic!

This program is free, but space is limited, and registration is required. Open to all youth ages 14–22. All participants must abide by our community agreements. Teen Night is organized by the Teen Night Planning Committee, our paid teen internship in public programming.

All visitors 5 and older must show proof of vaccination. Visitors 18 and older are also required to show a valid I.D. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status.
