    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Upper half of a figure of 4-armed Vishnu, carved in the round. The upper hands hold the discus (chakra, viewer's right) and mace (gada, viewer's left). One lower hand holds the conch (shankha, viewer's right) and the other is in abhaya mudra, the gesture of reassurance.
