    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Blue glazed relief-molded earthenware commemorative jug, symmetrical curvilinear lip, straight sided body, tapers inward above base, featuring a portrait of Sir Robert Peel, Bart. and the reverse with a portrait of Richard Cobden, M.P, the names impressed in swags below each portrait: “SIR.R.PEEL.BART.” “R.COBDEN.M.P”, surrounded with panels of stylized foliage. Applied squared C shape handle with vegetal decoration. Condition: very good, some minor firing imperfections.
