Description Salt-glazed stoneware jug with molded handle. Pyriform shape with narrow mouth, short neck with five-line molded band around neck, sloping shoulders bulge at middle and then taper to round, ringed base. Top of attached handle level with mouth. On body opposite handle, incised outline decoration of flower and leaves. CONDITION - About eight chips around base; large chip at mouth near handle, glaze chipped on mouth; side is pushed in (might possibly have had a spigot at one time, piece added and mended); chip on bulbous part of body, above which is a dark stain.
