2–3 pm

Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, 4th Floor

This series of intimate, in-gallery talks by contemporary artists illuminates our special exhibitions with fresh and alternative perspectives. Kahlil Robert Irving uses representations of everyday objects and materials, especially those from the urban environment, to challenge identity constructs. In this talk, he responds to Judy Chicago’s porcelain and ceramic works in Roots of “The Dinner Party”: History in the Making.
