Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Auditorium, 3rd Floor
Enjoy “Semiramide,” Gioachino Rossini’s opera seria, which begins with an overture containing one of Rossini’s most delightful “crescendo” passages. Béla Bartók’s Viola Concerto, performed by celebrated soloist Hsin-Yun Huang, expresses the composer's feelings about World War II as well as his love for the folk music of his native Hungary. Finish the evening with Beethoven's Seventh Symphony.
Tickets are $10 for Museum Members; $20 for non-Members. Visit brooklynsymphonyorchestra.org.
