Please join us in celebration of the new Brooklyn Museum Shop!  We are hosting an open house that will showcase the Shop’s beautiful new design, and its unique gift items from established and emerging Brooklyn designers, as well as items from around the world that reflect the diversity of the Museum’s collection.



The completely new, significantly larger Brooklyn Museum Shop was designed by the award-winning architectural firm Visbeen Associates, Inc. The shop features a curved jewelry counter at its center and a coffered ceiling with recessed lighting. Two light fixtures created by Brooklyn artist David Weeks are focal points of the design.



The newly created Shop, part of a multiphase transformation of much of the Museum’s first floor, is directly off the Rubin Lobby, in the space formerly occupied by the Blum Gallery.
