Our City, Ourselves: Memories, Neighborhoods, and Roots
Saturday, May 14, 2016
11 am–6 pm
Education Gallery, 1st Floor
Explore work by artists with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who were inspired by their neighborhoods, past and present—including their own and other people’s memories, and their experiences today.
This exhibition, which runs May 12–22, was created through a dynamic partnership between the Brooklyn Museum and ICL, a New York–based not-for-profit agency that offers support services to more than 10,000 adults, children, and families annually.
