Developing a Social Justice Practice: The Art of Facilitation

10 am–5 pm

Spend two art-centered days at the Brooklyn Museum with your peers, and learn skills in classroom management and facilitation that will strengthen your classroom learning environment. Through modeling and practicing object-based learning, you’ll be given the foundation to create a socially just classroom that allows for debate, critical thinking, and reflection. At the end of this course, you’ll have an in-depth understanding of one work from our collection and will have techniques you can immediately use with your class.

This Educator Workshop takes place over two Saturdays, April 22 and 29.
