    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION One of a pair of upholstered armchairs, with open arms and exposed wooden frames. Chairs upholstered in yellow moireen with polychrome floral brocade. Frames carved, gessoed and gilded. Arched back with central rosebud carving surmounting cresting; molded stiles leaf-carved at top. Bowed seat rails; also with central rosebud carving; four cabriole legs ending in scroll feet. Paris. Condition: Good. Gesso chipped off only in a few spots; minor.
