Art History Happy Hour: Year of the Tiger

Celebrate the year of the tiger with a cocktail hour and after-hours talks. Joan Cummins, Lisa and Bernard Selz Senior Curator, Asian Art, is joined by astrologer Alice Sparkly Kat (author of Post-Colonial Astrology: Reading the Planets through Capital, Power, and Labor) to reflect upon the significance of the Lunar New Year in Asian diasporic communities through art and astrology. Plus, enjoy a special cocktail created by Vanessa Li and Bowen Goh of the Bushwick bar Mood Ring.

Tickets are $45 and include one specialty cocktail, small bites, and after-hours admission to Arts of Asia. Additional beverages are available for purchase. Member tickets are $40. Not a Member? Join today!
