Thursday, April 27, 2023

7–9 pm

Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Auditorium, 3rd Floor

Writer, musician, and educator Tyriek Rashawn White returns to his hometown for the release of his debut novel, We Are a Haunting, which traces three generations of a working-class Brooklyn family and their inherited ghosts. White is joined in conversation by writer, editor, and fourth-generation New Yorker nia t. evans. The program begins with a performance by Kadeshiaa.

Masks are required in the Auditorium and will be available upon arrival.

Tickets are $16 ($30 with a copy of We Are a Haunting). Member tickets are $14 ($28 with a book). Not a Member? Join today!
