In Conversation: “FAILE Forward”

Thursday, September 24, 2015

7 pm

Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Auditorium, 3rd Floor

Join FAILE artists Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller for an in-depth conversation with Brooklyn Street Art founders Steven P. Harrington and Jaime Rojo. The artists explore their evolution from stenciling and wheat-pasting collages made from found imagery to their most ambitious work, Temple and The FAILE & BÄST Deluxx Fluxx Arcade. Moderated by Sharon Matt Atkins, Vice Director, Exhibitions and Collections Management.

After the talk, head to the Rubin Pavilion for a book launch, reception with cash bar, eclectic set by DJ duo Chances with Wolves, and screen printing demonstrations by Bushwick Print Lab. Complimentary Brooklyn Museum X FAILE tote bags will be available to the first two hundred visitors at the reception.

Tickets are $16 and include Museum admission. Free for Museum Members; to reserve, please call the Membership Hotline at (718) 501-6326 or email us. Watch this event on Livestream.
