Teens: Gallery/Studio Program

Registration is now open for fall 2022.

The Gallery/Studio Program offers fun, challenging studio art courses. Be inspired by professional teaching artists and spend time discussing artworks from our exhibitions, learn new skills and techniques, and create your own art using both new and traditional materials. Classes are available for children, teens, and adults. All levels of experience welcome!

Fall 2022 courses

Drawing: Power by Design
Sundays, 1:30–3:30 pm
Immerse yourself in the multidisciplinary work of late designer and artist Virgil Abloh. Through visits to Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech,” explore how art, design, fashion, and architecture intersect and challenge the existing power structures within these respective fields. Using pencils and markers, study line, shape, space, and hand-drawn typography. Then, finish the course with your own designs that speak truth to power and uplift your voice and values. These classes take place entirely in the galleries.
