CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Flared, paneled foot of octagonal form supports octagonal basin. A band of eight quatrefoils set into panels, flanked by elongated gothic-style niches encircles lower portion of pitcher. Eight elongated panels surmount this band with gothic arches topped by applied foliate pinnacles, which rise over shoulder and rest on neck. Bracket handle is applied to molded lip of piece and shoulder of basin. Handle has grotesque bearded mask in relief. Condition: Good with some tarnish milky color film along handle and rim of pitcher.
