    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Plate. Porcelain with gilt decoration. White body with dark blue glaze on top. Thin gilt border to rim. Asymmetrical, Japanese inspired, gilt impasto decorative motives. Four leaves and one flower on lower half. Two leaves wrap around the rim. Two butterflies, one sits on a stem, one sits on the flower. Two cranes in flight above at opposing sides of plate. Horizontal bands of gilt specks, suggesting waves, are placed in the center of plate from one side to the other. CONDITION - Very good; normal wear, some scratches on bottom.
