MARKINGS Impressed on underside, two identical, badly worn stamps placed side by side: (1) figure eight shaped stamp with beaded border, containing eagle with wings outspread and American crest over its body above "[T.]D.B." (left side of stamp and eagle illegible) (2) identical, but only the bottom portion of the stamp with "T.D.B." is visible

CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Small, round, highly polished pewter plate with wide rim that curves upward slightly at edge; incised line around center of plate. CONDITION: Fair; shows heavy use with deep scratches, especially in center; long crack along inner edge of rim (opens into hole); few dark spots of discoloration and patches of pitting; rim is bent / misshapen.
